Fun Weekend!

We had a very fun weekend! We did lots of

fun things. =) Friday night was softball. Derrick

had gotten hit on his shin with a softball a few

weeks ago, and it was really bothering him this

night, so he decided not to play. We still went to

support the team! It was kind of weird having 

Derrick sit next to me during the games. After the

games, we came back to our house, and 

Stewart and Erin spent the night. Karree

and Gaven came over after the games, and we 

all just visited for a long while. It was fun!

The next day, Derrick had planned to go do

some filming for a movie he is making. But we 

just couldn't get ourselves to want to do that.

So, we decided to go have a picnic at the park.

I did lots of playing, too. But no one likes 

to take pictures of me. I always have to ask

them to, which I didn't feel like doing. =)

That would be my husband!

Lowynn is just too cute. He is such a little boy. He loves

to play with sticks and pretend like they are his 

swords or his guns. =)

It was still pretty early in the day to just call it, and

head back to our house. We decided to hike the 

Grotto in Payson canyon. It was so much fun!

He is getting too big!

She is such a daddy's girl. =)

The kids had so much fun playing in the water.

I appreciate Derrick taking a picture for us, 

but he just doesn't understand how to do it. 

So there's a sun glare on my face. =)

After our hike, we went and got some ice cream.

Then we had a barbecue, and when it got dark,

we started a fire and roasted some marshmallows

and made us some s'mores, while Derrick and 

Stewart played their guitars and sang some songs.

It was so much fun to get out and do something

different, & then come back home and relax!
